We’re accepting entries!
Local artistic expression, varied talent and cultural context are the core of The METROPIA Experience. Sculpture, graffiti, prints, mixed media and other types of public art are welcome into the entry pool for both indoor and outdoor display. We highly desire out-of-the-box, large scale can’t-be-missed live art installations. All pieces must be presented and built with durability safety and quality in mind. We are especially looking for pieces that promote sustainability and/or repurposing of materials.
Each artist may submit up to three (3) original works that have been completed within the last 2 years. Work must be available for the duration of the show and may not be withdrawn from the exhibition at any time prior to the closing date of June 9, 2012. Created work must fit through a 4′ x 8′ door and may not exceed 200 pounds in weight. Open to residents of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. Entries are open to artists 18 years or older.
